It was a long offseason, but we have finally made it. While the boys in blue at the Major League level have been playing for a week now, Thursday marks day numero uno of the 2019 Minor League Baseball season.

As I do every year, I will be following along with each of the Cubs affiliates throughout the entirety of the season and be watching on MiLB.tv more often than not each night. As we get started, here are some things to know:

I will be covering everything you need to know about the top prospects in the system in multiple locations as we move through the season. As always, you will be able to find major updates and any changes to my Top Prospects lists right here at Out Of The Vines. You can look out for the more day-to-day happenings of the system at my Twitter account @OutOfTheVines.

In addition, I recently joined the team at Cubs Insider, covering the Minor League system and while I will be posting articles there from time to time, I will be posting a Weekly Update of the system every Monday throughout the season. I will be keeping up with the weekly statistics of the entire system and giving you the lowdown on everything you need to know about what happened the previous week and what to look out for during the coming week.
