Out of the Vines started first as a blog and then a Twitter account for Greg Huss way back in the spring of 2015. The Cubs were days away from kicking off the heyday of their golden age and Greg was in college ready to write about them.

What began as big league Cubs commentary on a Blogger site eventually morphed into an abnormal amount of prospect intrigue.

Over the last decade, Greg has written off and on for his personal site here at Out of the Vines but also produced written content for Cubs Insider, helped create North Side Bound, and produced over 250 podcast episodes at Growing Cubs and now Cubs On Deck.

Now in a different stage of life than he was back in 2015, Greg uses Out of the Vines to put out sporadic written articles. For consistent content, be sure to check out Cubs On Deck on any podcasting platform, including YouTube, where he drops episodes every week during the season and every other week in the offseason.
