Everyone should know the Luke Hagerty story by now. The former 2002 draftee has signed back with the organization after the single most incredible journey you’ll ever hear about. Now nearly 38 years old, the lefty fireballer is taking to the Twitter machine to show off his heater that sits in the mid-90s, occasionally hitting the high-90s. That dirty movement sure wouldn’t make me feel all too comfortable as a lefty standing in the box.

Hagerty might still have a little ways to go and quite a few bodies to jump over in the Chicago bullpen pecking order, but he sure has the support of all of Cubs Nation as he prepares to make a run that is even more impressive than the Jim Morris story.
